The Landscape Committee supports the Board of Directors by assisting with landscape planning, maintenance review, and long-term improvement considerations for the Association’s common areas. The committee helps evaluate landscape needs and provides recommendations to support consistent and well-maintained shared spaces.
The Landscape Committee does not direct vendors or make final decisions. All landscape-related decisions and approvals are made by the Board of Directors in properly noticed meetings.
Committee Focus
The Landscape Committee focuses on reviewing and supporting landscape-related planning for the Association’s common areas, including:
- Long-term landscape planning and improvement considerations
- Review of landscape maintenance practices and conditions
- Evaluation of proposed landscape changes or enhancements
- Providing recommendations to the Board of Directors related to landscape needs
WHAT THE LANDSCAPE COMMITTEE DOES NOT DO
The Landscape Committee does not manage day-to-day landscape operations or direct vendor activity. The committee does not:
- Direct or supervise landscape vendors
- Approve contracts or authorize spending
- Handle individual homeowner service requests
- Address emergency or immediate maintenance issues
Landscape-related service requests or urgent maintenance concerns should be directed to the Association’s management company.
HOW THE LANDSCAPE COMMITTEE PROCESS WORKS
The Landscape Committee works collaboratively with the Board of Directors and the Association’s management company to review landscape conditions and planning considerations for the community’s common areas.
- Reviews landscape conditions and maintenance observations
- Discusses potential landscape improvements or long-term planning needs
- Provides recommendations and input to the Board of Directors
- Supports consistency and long-term stewardship of common areas
Landscape Committee discussions are advisory in nature. Recommendations are reviewed by the Board of Directors, and final decisions are made by the Board in properly noticed meetings.
